1. You need to eat something before the ceremony starts. This is because depending on how busy the day may get, you may not have the opportunity to have a proper meal when the reception is in full swing.
2. You are not just a bridesmaid / maid of honour; you are also a therapist, a shoulder to lean on, secretary, personal assistant, prayer partner, motivator, opinion giver from planning the wedding to the big day.

3. Do not complain about the bridesmaid dress unless the bride has complained about it. If you have to, ensure it is not in the presence of the bride.

4. You must not get drunk at the wedding.

5. Smile! Smile!! Smile!!!. When you are stressed out, frustrated with certain duties or tired of nagging guest, Smile!!!!.

6. Your problems do not exist on the wedding day, No whining or frowning allowed. (SEE No. 5).

7. Nothing good can come up by inviting an ex of the bride to the wedding or bringing him up in conversations.

8. Spot an extremely handsome relative of the bride? Check in with the bride before any hook up.

9. If the dance floor is empty, y'all know what to do.

10. If you are in the bathroom at the church or reception, be careful what you say about the bride, groom or anyone for that matter.

11. Dance with the least attractive single groomsmen at least once.

12. The Bride is your priority (SEE Nos. 2, 5, 6)

13. Do not cause Drama with another bridesmaid even if you cannot stand her. Remember, the bride is your priority.

14. Show your excitement as the wedding plan progresses!!!!!!.

15. Tell the bride how beautiful she looks. (SEE No. 12).

The most important rule is having fun, enjoy the ceremony, laugh with the bride, cry with her, pray with her and for her and do unto her as you will like your bridesmaids to do unto you.

XOXO
