Hello Bridesmaids to be,

The most important aspect of being a bridesmaid is the Dress. Decision on what length, colour, design to suit the shape of every bridesmaid has to be considered. However, what do you do with the dress after the ceremony, especially when the dress set your bank account backwards. Below are suggestions on what to do;

1. Cut up the dress or dresses and use specific fabrics to sew tops, tube tops, patch dresses, table cloth, sleeves, patch pocket e.t.c

2. Sell them to shops that deal with pre-owned wedding and bridesmaid dresses.

3. Have it laundered,, give it out as a gift.

4.  Revamp it and make it more your style by cutting the length, adjusting the sleeves e.t.c This way, you can use it as a cocktail or party dress.

5. Use as a costume idea for a bridal shower: When planning the bridal shower of a friend, everyone can decide to wear old bridesmaid dresses, including the bride. This way, you can alll discuss about the designers and have one make the dresses that will be used for the upcoming wedding.
Use as a costume idea for another bridal shower.

6. If you have a satin or taffeta dress, cut it up and make a cute throw pillow out of it. This can be a cute gift for the Mrs in her new home.
Cut up dress and make a ruffled throw pillow.

With these ideas, I hope you get to accept your friends request to be in her bridal party.
Happy planning,
XOXO,
Sensa.
